Uncertainities

Today, am a little upset about things around me. Not only this ,but I am also upset at how people around me look at things around.

Only last week I came back from Pune. I fell in love with the city....all the narrow streets, with two way traffic are filled with young, bubbly, colorfull crowd. It seems, that no one else but only students and students live there..students of all kind... The Law college road( where I was putting up with my sister) particularly looks like some fashion street, where young gals dress up with blue eyeliner, yellow nailpaint, curly locks for early in the morning class of 7!(atleast, I could never imagine to have done dat for my 9'o clock class or for that matter for my class at 2 even!) may be thats the reason what makes them diffrent and appealing as well( if I can say that)...There is CCD/pizza corner/ sandwich corner/Barista or sum eating joint or coffee corner at every nuk and corner of the city..it reminded me of JNU at large scale but a JNUite( which I am where we are used to everything being so cheap or betterto say inexpensive) found it a little more expensive indeed..:):)! All my complains vanished as soon I tasted the food, and i realised that it was worth the money.I was on a holiday there, away from the hustle bustle of cold and dry Delhi of the month ofJanuary. My sister had all the plans well chalked out, even before I reached Pune. We had to go to Mahabaleshwar, Lonavla, Khandala, Shirdi... the list goes on within a stipulated perios of 5 days! She had the movie tickets of 'ishqiya' for the evenin show on the same evening I reached so that we saved time.. apart from this, she had made the list of all all eating joints in Pune, where she wuld love to go, or where she had heard her freind saying, that the food is worth trying or even where she had been already and she enjoyed the food, so she wanted even me to taste it. Altough I am not foodie like her, but still wanted her to do all the stuff which she had wanted to do but she was never able to do it, because of her bad money management. She is short of money even on the first day of month.. :). It goes like this... the money which comes to her on the first day of the month, goes in returning the dues of the last month..and then again she has to take loans for the next month...so thats how has continued for the last three years..so I have come to the conclusion that the chain has become irreversible! So as was planned we went to the various eating joints around the city; eating chinese, hyderabadi, sandwiches, momos, keema, biryani, idli dosa, durga coffee ..etc etc..Even when we are on our way to mahabaleshwar, we were more interested in eating than site seeing!! We also went to shirdi and shani mandir. There also our interest was not the temple but the food!We also went for shopping of all kinds..the fashion street of MG road or the Esquare was better than our SN/Janpath or PVR's. After I returned from Pune, my sister kept on complaining that we went to all places except 'the famous' KP road, where there is famous german bakery, which has 'world famous' tasty biscuits( in her words)...and now I dont think so that I will ever be able to go there also..:( because of the obvious reason we all know..:(:(:(I am sad about the innocent people who had been there that saturday evening and lost there lives because of some group of barabaric people actions... some lost there body parts, some lost there near and dear ones..shiver runs down my nerves, even to think of that we were not there or any of our close family member was not there at that point of time. I thank god for that, but really feel pity and sad for the innocent people affected by this. Moreover, I was even shocked by the fact, that the people of this country are so much affected when sumthing goes wrong with Shahrukh Khan or Amitabh Bachchan. I see so many activities, updates, groups in support of Shahrukh Khan's My Name is Khan...but none in the name of Pune Blast Victims!! Why is it so..?? Why are we so unsymphathtic towards other people's pain. We all so well understand , right and wrong, just and unjust, and also to protest for a cause like telenagana!!( are these really worth protesting), but we for sure fail to understand, register and stand for the other people's pain...Aren't we too complacent or we are just complaisant!!
